BC Building Code 2006 (NOT including Plumbing Services, Part 7)

**The 2010 National Construction Codes are now available. The new BC Construction Codes will be released in the spring of 2012 with the effective date of fall 2012. For more information, please see Bulletin 11-01 BC Codes - Release of Next Editions.

Please note: We will not be accepting any returns on the 2006 National or BC Construction Codes.

The BC Building Code applies to the cons truction of buildings, including extensions, substantial alterations, buildings undergoing a change for occupancy, and upgrading of buildings to remove an unacceptable hazard.

Application and Intent Statements are a new feature that wi ll enhance your understanding of the Codes. The supplementary information they provide assists in the interpretation of the technical requirements. Due to the volume of Application and Intent Statements, these are only available online and on CD-ROM.
