British Columbia Gazette

The British Columbia Gazette is produced by the Queen’s Printer under the authority of the Queen’s Printer Act, 
and consists of two parts: Gazette I and Gazette II

Gazette Part I is normally published weekly and contains proclamations, legal and government notices required by provincial statute or regulation such as:

The Ministry of Citizens' Services does not publish Corporate Registry Notices of company and extra provincial filings in The British Columbia Gazette. These include: amalgamations, changes of name, intent to dissolve, incorporations, restorations and dissolutions. This information dating back to January 2003, is now available in a fully searchable and printable format online at www.bclaws.ca.

Notices and advance payment must reach the Queen’s Printer no later than 1:30 pm on the deadline date (see schedule below).

Customers requiring galley proofs prior to printing must submit copy by 1:30 pm on the Friday before the next publication (see schedule below).

Insertion order requests must be paid in advance. Accepted payment methods include:

  • Visa, Mastercard or American Express (debit-visa is not accepted at this time)
  • Certified Cheque or Money Order (no personal cheques) made payable to the Minister of Finance.

Once an order has been received by the Queen’s Printer, a secure online payment link will be sent via email.

Credit card information is no longer accepted in office.

Insertion order request forms must be complete in full and all information including signatures must be legible.

  • It is the responsibility of the customer to verify the accuracy of the submission.
  • Restoration Ad request must include an incorporation number. This number can be found in the customers original incorporation documents or visit BC Registries and Online Services.
  • The mailing address is required to receive a copy of the British Columbia Gazette; this copy is proof of publication.

A receipt will be delivered with the mailed copy of the British Columbia Gazette.

Contains British Columbia regulations which are required to be published under the Regulations Act., and is normally published every two weeks.

Business people use the British Columbia Gazettes to keep informed of changes that effect their business. 
The Gazettes are available online in a fully searchable format at www.bclaws.ca.
