This FOODSAFE Instructor Manual is designed for both new and experienced instructors. Content and materials have been selected and structured to ensure that essential information is provided in a logical and straightforward manner, while adhering to effective teaching/learning strategies. Each page provides clearly laid out instructions, suggestions and guidelines for teaching the corresponding page of the new Participant Workbook.
The Instructor Manual includes a USB containing resources and materials needed to teach FOODSAFE Level 1 2017 including the PowerPoint presentations with imbedded videos (in English and Open Captioned English), handouts for classroom activities, suggested readings, and links to real cases of foodborne illness outbreaks to emphasize learning points.
